Luis and his four girls.
I'm Luis, the founder of Kinedu and a dad of four girls. Like most parents, I kept asking myself the same question: am I doing enough?
I had already spent years in early childhood, first building daycares across Latin America and then, in 2013, Kinedu. Even so, the science rarely made it into my own living room. It lived in research papers, not in what you actually do with a baby on an ordinary afternoon.
So that is what Kinedu became: the research, turned into one clear thing to do today. Activities for your baby's exact age, milestones you can really follow, and experts you can ask. More than sixteen years of working with researchers and educators later, Stanford scientists have studied our data from over 21,000 children, and 11 million families have used the app.
I wrote Big Bang Baby because the most important part never fit in an app: how early skills connect, why every child moves at their own pace, and why what you do on a normal day matters more than any product. Including this one.
If you're reading this, you're already asking the right question. Welcome.
